How to stay healthy while travelling isn’t a secret. These 10 easy tips will help keep you in tip-top shape on your trip.
1. Stick to a morning routine.
You’re not required to clock in an hour at the hotel gym, but some light stretching, breathing exercises and meditation will do you a lot of good. Plus points for body weight exercises, double if you can sneak in a swim or a run.
2. Wash your hands often.
There may be no such thing as a germ-free surface, but you can do your part to avoid spreading bacteria and viruses.
3. Watch what you eat…
When in doubt about food hygiene and storage, go for bottled water and freshly cooked food.
4. …And resist the urge to overeat.
Share meals when you can so you can try a wider variety of food. If you’re alone, eat smaller meals more often.

When you’re well rested, you’re energised and able to enjoy the moment. Also, your immune system isn’t compromised the way it would if you weren’t sleeping enough.
