Entering its 13th year, Borneo Jazz Festival opens on 11 May 2018 at the seafront Coco Cabana Marina Bay, one of Miri’s top sunset spots. Expect music and passion to be in fashion at the festival’s new home, only 10 minutes away from the city centre.

Malaysian artistes comprised of the likes of Az Samad, Elvira Arul and Miri-born singer-songwriter Zee Avi join the three-day festival’s lineup that features dozens of vocalists and musicians from Asia and Europe. Highlights include the 3 Saxes featuring Tony Lakatos, Gaoyang Li and Julian Chan; the Borneo Jazz Festival Talent Search; the powerhouse collaboration of Datuk Zainal Abidin and Dasha Logan and pianist Michael Veerapen; and the late-night jam sessions.

One of the region’s longest running jazz events, Borneo Jazz Festival welcomes artistes from Asia and Europe.

Borneo Jazz Festival is organised by No Black Tie Presents in cooperation with Sarawak Tourism Board. For the full event schedule and artiste lineup, visit jazzborneo.com.
