Located just 150km southeast of Bangkok, facing a wide bay and a long majestic stretch of beach, Pattaya has been groomed for international visitors for more than three decades. Today, Pattaya boasts the unique distinction of being a beach resort with a city status.

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Pattaya

2.30pm: Flight departs klia2

3.25pm: Flight arrives in U-Tapao International Airport, Pattaya. Proceed to transfer to Pattaya city and check into hotel

Evening: Pattaya Floating Market

Also known as the Four Regions Floating Market, it covers an area of around 100,000 sqm and houses more than 100 vendors and shops selling food, souvenirs, handicrafts and more. A cultural show is also held every day around noon.

Night: Tiffany’s Cabaret Show

This award-winning transvestite cabaret show has gained international fame for its spectacular costumes, latest lighting and sound, great choreography and of course, the flowery performers who won’t hesitate to have their picture taken with audiences. Definitely an experience not to be missed!

Day 2: Pattaya

Morning [Option 1]: Island Hopping to Coral Island (Koh Larn)

This island serves as a popular excursion from Pattaya and is only a 20-minute boat ride away from Pattaya Beach. Spend the day relaxing on this stunning hotspot where the sand is pure white and the water translucent. The island also offers a range of water sports including:

  • Windsurfing
  • Scuba diving
  • Snorkelling
  • Glass bottom boat ride

Morning [Option 2]: Cartoon Network Amazone

Afternoon: Mimosa, City of Love

Billed as the City of Love, Mimosa has shops and restaurants built in the French style. There’s also an open-air stage where performances are held. Make sure to sit in the front row to get the best experience!

Evening: Khao Phra Tamnak (Pattaya View Point)

You can enjoy panoramic views of Jomtien and Pattaya at any time of the day on this hillside viewpoint, but the best times would be during the late afternoon or early evening, when the changing lights enhance this already amazing sight – and best of all, it’s absolutely free. On the very top of the hill, you will also notice an enormous 18-metre tall Buddha which happens to be the largest in the region.

Night: Walking Street

When it comes to nightlife, Pattaya is the place to be! When the sun sets, the streets come to life with thumping music, street performances, colourful neon lights, food vendors and travellers from all around the world.

Day 3: Pattaya – Kuala Lumpur

Morning: Sanctuary of Truth

This 105-metre tall wooden architectural structure will definitely take your breath away as it is made entirely of wood without any metal nails and commands a grand view of the ocean. The building was constructed according to ancient Thai ingenuity and every square inch of the building is covered with beautiful carved wooden sculptures. No trip to Pattaya would be complete without visiting the Sanctuary of Truth.

Afternoon: Last-minute souvenir shopping

Visit Central Festival – Asia’s largest beachfront shopping centre – for some luxury purchases, Outlet Mall Pattaya for some bargains, and pick up some local souvenirs from street vendors and kiosks before leaving for the airport.

 3.55pm: Flight departs U-Tapao International Airport, Pattaya

7.00pm: Flight arrives in Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2)
